What happens once I’ve registered for the Virtual Job Fair?

  1. Teach901 Personal Career Guide: On Monday, April 20th, you will be contacted via email by a Teach901 team member who will share opportunities with you that are a great fit for your skill set based on the resume you shared with us. That team member will then be your guide for navigating the week of career fair workshops and interviews.
  2. Position, Licensure, and Content Information Workshops: From Tuesday, April 21st, through Friday, April 24th, you’ll receive invitations to special Zoom sessions with leading education experts from our Teach901 partner schools and organizations. The sessions to which you receive an invitation will be geared toward your career background and career goals.
  3. Direct Contact with Our Partner Schools: Throughout the week, our partner schools and recruiting organizations will be reaching out to you directly. Your Teach901 Guide will provide feedback and planning throughout this process.

What if I don’t have the internet in my home?

The initial registration must occur online. But once you have signed up online, all of the follow-up communication can occur via telephone if wi-fi access isn’t available to you.

What is Teach901?

Teach901 is a collaborative effort to recruit high-quality teachers who are passionate about education to work in high-needs schools in Memphis. Teach901 is also dedicated to retaining the incredible teacher talent in Memphis and pursues this goal in three ways: hosting events that build community and show appreciation, sharing positive stories that uplift educators and education-based organizations, from the movement, and providing professional development opportunities.
