|Minimum Position Qualifications||Tennessee teacher license with endorsement in elementary education required. The successful applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree.|

|Working Conditions||While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.|

Following the lesson plan left by the teacher for whom he/she is
substituting in accordance with district’s philosophy, goals and objectives.
Meeting and instructing assigned classes in the locations and at the times
Establishing and maintaining order in the classroom.
Maintaining a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
Taking all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students,
materials, equipment and facilities.
Assisting in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative
regulations, and School Board Policies.

Cooperating with school personnel.
Establishing and maintaining cooperative relations with other employees.
