Overview

Position Summary Provide leadership and management of instructional technology to University Schools faculty, staff and students. The Coordinator will be responsible for planning, purchasing, installing, training and monitoring the technology systems and equipment used across University Schools in a way that promotes best-practice, innovative, laboratory school education while also remaining compliant with state, local, university and district rules, laws, regulations and requirements. The Coordinator will collaborate with school leaders and University of Memphis IT professionals to promote responsible and relevant technology use in schools to support educational outcomes and achievement. The Coordinator will also teach technology related courses for students in the University Schools and lead trainings for University Schools faculty, staff, and families.
Minimum Position Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; minimum of 3 years of experience with instructional technology in the PK-12 setting.
