|Additional Position Information||This position is scheduled to begin July 1, 2021.|
|Duties & Responsibilities||Model the school’s mission, core values, and the Gold Standards of Project Based Learning (PBL) through ongoing communication with key stakeholders, identify institutional barriers and enablers to PBL at University Middle and recommend solutions.|
|Duties & Responsibilities||Research and share best practices in PBL in order to organize celebration and recognition events for PBL students. Provide professional development for teachers regarding PBL.
Coordinate PBL Explore day once a week for grades 6-8. Facilitate cross-curricular and grade level PBL projects.
Leverage University resources to enhance PBL curriculum and analyze and use formative assessment data to provide feedback to instructors.
|Duties & Responsibilities||Serve as liaison between University of Memphis professors and University Middle instructors regarding extended learning opportunities. Develop partnerships throughout Memphis and Shelby County to enhance PBL curriculum. Co-plan with instructors by department to ensure proper implementation of PBL curriculum.
Collaborate with campus and community partners to oversee university supported/hosted experiential learning programs for youth on campus.
|Duties & Responsibilities||Oversee and manage schedule for University Middle Maker Space. Know and understand Tennessee state standards to assist instructors in providing support for proper planning and implementation of PBLs.
Serve as a member of the Instructional leadership team.Coordinate off-site experiences for students that align with current PBLs and state standards as they are being taught.
